Arum. Swan. Campanula.

A blown-glass decanter, a pitcher and stemware.

These are studies in the qualities of refraction and reflection of the material, and manipulations of the liquid conained therein. The experience of pouring and drinking involves all of the senses. The forms and ergonomics of these glass objects are intended to work and play with those sensual phenomena. The carefully varied and sculpted thicknesses and curves of the decanters precisely gather and disperse the light entering their interior. The sound of pouring and lapping are created and accentuated by the refined shapes of the objects.
